MY LIFE HAS CHANGED
SO MUCH OF MY LIFE HAS CHANGED SINCE COMPLETING THE IGNITE LIFE PROJECT.
I have added a lot of significantly healthier foods to my regular eating habits, and I have changed how and when I eat so as to maintain a healthy weight and more stable mood. I have also learned which healthy foods are most important to me using a saliva DNA evaluation, so I make sure those are in my diet more often. I actually have lists of healthy meal ideas taped up in my kitchen now!
I have established go-to activities to take the place of stress eating. These have significantly reduced the amount of stress eating I do. If I stress eat, I have healthier options!
I have a strict supplement and vitamin protocol for optimum mood stability! It’s been so nice to feel a sense of confidence from a combination of both standard medicine and naturopathic medicine.
I did a cleanse for the first time in my life, and it was amazing. I was never really hungry, I filled myself with delicious and amazing organic and homemade juices, smoothies, and meals, and I reduced inflammation in my body.
I learned how important morning routines are, so I created one which I occasionally adjust according to seasons and schedules, and I make sure to include exercise and self-care. My morning list is key to my entire day going well.
I now have greater awareness of my body and moods, and I incorporate breathing and meditation that is simple and doesn’t take much time or effort.
I bought a book about boundaries and have stared to incorporate better boundaries in my conversations and decisions because of personality profiling we did in the Ignite Life Project. I have read personality profile books before, but these quizzes and concepts were new to me and very eye opening.
I have realized what I want my life and days to look like in a few years and even just a year from now. So when I do experience mood swings, I am much better able to choose how I want my day to look rather than following a low mood. Also, Instead of wishing I could accomplish a lot of things, I’ve been able to more concertedly focus my priorities through various goal setting and life focusing activities from Ignite Life Project. I first took care of physical health issues I had been procrastinating. Now I am taking lessons and workings on skills in order to achieve dreams and goals I’ve set! I plan activities and projects accordingly. I didn’t realize before Ignite Life Program that I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. Not having set goals and dreams with a way to achieve them made me feel kind of lost. I have actually quit a part-time job in order to create space to work on myself and these things.
It’s not easy trying to achieve this kind of self-awareness and changing a lifetime of habits. This makes it hard to choose where I’ve been most successful, but I feel Ive done the best by incorporating healthier food options.
I would definitely recommend this program! Anyone who wants to be healthier physically and emotionally would benefit significantly. In fact, anyone who wants to feel like they are more in the driver’s seat of their life would benefit.
